Dec. 6, 2008 – Today, Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort, recently ranked among the top three resorts in the country by the readers of Transworld Snowboarding and in the top 25 by the readers of SKI Magazine, officially opened for skiing and riding for the winter 2008-09 season.

Today, Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort got closer to its goal of providing skiers and riders with access to even more advanced terrain in the Lookout® Mountain area of the resort. As part of the more than $13 million in on-mountain improvements Northstar Resort invested this summer that will benefit skiers and riders during the 2008-09 winter season, this morning, a helicopter assisted the Dopplemayr crew with the installation of the new lift towers for the Martis Camp Express chairlift.
